Living in the rugged and breathtaking community of Challis in central Idaho has been a dream come true. With a passion for art, hunting, business, and the outdoors, taxidermy was a natural fit for me. After attending taxidermy school in 2016, I traveled to learn from various taxidermists and eventually had the opportunity to apprentice under a world-class taxidermist and sculptor in Colorado.
Following my apprenticeship, we knew Idaho was where we wanted to be. I found work at a local taxidermy shop and took on contract work with other taxidermists, specializing in life-size mounts and really enjoy the challenges of large, customized pieces.
After years of hard work, saving, paying off debt, and flipping real estate, we were finally able to build a runway and relocate to a more rural area to open my own shop. Now based in Challis, Idaho, we take pride in running a debt-free business focused on quality, timely turnaround, and meticulous attention to detail, ensuring each piece fulfills the customer’s vision. As avid hunters ourselves, we deeply understand the importance of preserving memories.
